No LEZ surcharge – We’re already compliant

From the 1st March ’21, stricter emission standards will be coming in to force to London’s existing Low Emission Zone (LEZ).

The A-B 24/7 fleet is already LEZ compliant, (as well as ULEZ and DVS compliant).
We do not add any surcharges to our clients for deliveries within the LEZ, ULEZ, and DVS zone, (or the Congestion Charge zone).

What is the new standard?

Heavy diesel vehicles will (from 1st March ’21) have to meet the Euro VI (NOx and PM) emissions standards or pay the LEZ daily charge.

The LEZ area and operation times

All heavy diesel vehicles entering Greater London will need to meet the new standard or pay the charge. The coverage zone is the same as the new Direct Vision Standard (which also comes into force on 1st March ’21).

The LEZ is in operation 24 hours a day, seven days a week (which matches our availability) and is not the same as the Ultra Low Emission Zone.

This will affect all couriers and hauliers based in London, (such as ourselves) and all heavy diesel vans and trucks entering Greater London.
