A long walk for a good cause – The South Coast Mighty Hike
On June 11th AB247’s Director Tony Austin will be taking part in the South Coast Mighty Hike, a 26mile walk to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
“The hike is from Brighton to Eastbourne along the stunning South Downs Way and takes in the far-reaching views of Britain’s finest unspoilt coastline from the chalk cliffs of Seven Sisters Country Park.”
Tony along with his fellow Coast Busters team mates Chris (Buzz) Budd, David York, Gareth Jones, Marc (Gumbo) Gumbrill, Mark (The Hammer) Lacey and Paul Birch have already met their initial joint team target of £5,000.00 and are now aiming to break £10,000.00 – so please show your support.
Tony has been training hard over the past months, last weekend he covered 62miles, which admitedly left him with sore feet, but he’s looking forward to the challenge on the day. To support Tony (and the Coast Busters) please visit his Just Giving page
